De Anbernic RG353P retro gameconsole heeft de RK3566 quad-core 64-bit Cortext-A55 CPU die tot 1,8 GHz draait met Mali-G52 GPU voor hoge prestaties bij Android gaming. Er is 2GB LPDDR4 RAM en 32GB eMMC opslag met twee micro SD kaartsleuven voor de opslag van het Linux OS en games.

De RG353P meet ongeveer 6,8×3,1×0,7″ enweegt 209g, waardoor hij ideaal is om mee te nemen in je jaszak of kleine tas. De controller is geïnspireerd op het klassieke ontwerp van retro gamecontrollers en is verkrijgbaar in twee thema’s: paars voor de VS en Japanse en Europese RGBY-kleuren.

Het 3,5 ” IPS touchscreen heeft een resolutie van 640×480 in een beeldverhouding van 4:3 en is perfect voor retroconsoles met kristalheldere beelden. De RG353P heeft dubbele analoge sticks, een D-Pad en al je standaard gamebedieningen die je nodig hebt voor een retro gameconsole, inclusief trigger- en schouderknoppen.
De RG353P heeft snelle 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4/5G WiFi en Bluetooth 4. Je kunt ondersteunde retro gameconsoles online spelen met vrienden. Er is ook een HDMI-uitgang om aan te sluiten op je TV met groot scherm om te genieten van gaming op groot scherm!

Het Linus OS is geweldig voor beginners op het gebied van retro spelconsoles, het is heel eenvoudig te navigeren en te gebruiken. Het besturingssysteem Android 11 maakt meer configuratie mogelijk met de mogelijkheid om nog meer ondersteunde spelconsoles en computers toe te voegen dan Linux. Tientallen systemen variërend van de jaren 70 tot meer recente systemen waaronder de PlayStation worden ondersteund op de RG353P!

De RG353P wordt aangedreven door een 3500mAh Li-polymeer batterij. We kregen een zeer goede batterijlevensduur van meer dan 4 uur tijdens het benchmarken. Veeleisender gamen op de retro gameconsole kan de batterijduur verkorten.

Perfect

I wanted the RG353P just for GBA games but it does a lot more. The build quality is great, it has a great feeling in the hand and it lasts a long time without a charge.

Good, but software is not quite there yet.

Went from the RG351p to this, mainly to haven proper N64 emulation. I like the ergnomics and the screen a lot. On the software side I think a lot will be improved in the future. The stock firmware gives you iffy N64 emulation and 8- and 16 bit games don't run as smoothly as they do on the RG351 somehow. The frame rate just seems a little uneven. Same goes for JELOS. The Android side gives you better N64 emulation and smooth 8- and 16 bit gameplay, but it all feels a bit slapped together. Hoping for good custom firmware in the future!

Perfect fit, but a bit snug for wires and the ANBERNIC label is on the bottom...

It does the job and works fine, to hold and protect the RG353P, but there are tiny things. I wouldn't recommend putting anything, except a screen wipe in the top, as the case is very right and you will put pressure on the device, and the ANBERNIC branding, is on the bottom of the case, which is just a shame.

What a brilliant device.

I would highly recommend the RG353p to anyone in the market for brilliant entry point hand held emulator, i have tried other similar devices and none compare to this. It feels great to hold even for longer periods, all the buttons sit in the right place and have a nice click when pressed. The screen is of high quality with an excellent brightness range and the linux operating system is so simple to use with just enough settings options to further customise the devise but not so much it becomes overwhelming. The devise came packaged with a sd card which was great to get a feel for how everything runs with only some of the more demanding N64/Dreamcast games causing any drop in performance but for the price that was expected and from what i have read the android side would run them better but i haven't even ventured to that side yet as the drops where only slight and I've been enjoying the linux side to much. Top work Anbernic👍🏽.

Nice sleek case - a little too sleek perhaps?

The case has a nice finish and feels decent quality. My RG353P fits in nicely and the elastic strap keeps it in place. Only slight gripe is the case is quite narrow so you can't store much more than the charger cable in there without putting some pressure on the device.

Perfect all round retro emulator.

I have the RG353M. A very nice, compact, premium quality aluminum shelled, version of this. I bought the RG353P as a present for a friend. ....And I like it more. Now wishing I'd bought this version instead. It's very comfortable in the hands, and lighter, with stacked shoulder buttons. It's so much more ergonomic, and I can play for so much longer with it. Despite being plastic, it doesn't feel cheap (other than the edges of the lower shoulder triggers), and I'm now contemplating getting one for myself - though I use the M a lot through HDMI and Bluetooth controllers. But this P version also does that. The screen is also a great size - clear, and big enough, while keeping the overall size fairly compact. There are newer and more powerful consoles, and with bigger screens. But I'd say this is a perfect size and form factor for a handheld retro console.
