Transform it to desktop pc.

I’ve had a really positive experience with the docking station for my GPD Win 5. It instantly transforms the device from a handheld into a clean desktop-style setup. Connecting it to a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other accessories is quick and seamless, which makes gaming and even light productivity much more comfortable.

This dock is flickering on and off when connected to my 4k 120hz tv. I\'ve been messing around with it for hours. Any recommendations on fixing this issue? The drivers are update to date, I\'ve used the hdmi cable on other pcs and it works fine, I\'ve used a different hdmi cable. I\'m not sure if I got a bad unit or not, I\'ve also seen other people with the same issue.

This sounds like it could be a HDMI cable issue. While HDMI 2.0 cables at 18 Gbps technically support 4K 120Hz it can have various issues such as reduced colour depth, artefacts and screen flickering. We recommend a quality HDMI 2.1 cable which supports 48 Gbps and has sufficient bandwidth for full colour, HDR etc. Please try with a HDMI 2.1 cable and see if this resolves the issue. Would this dock work with the Win 4, since its own dedicated dock is out of stock?

Unfortunately, the Win 5 dock isn't really a good match for the Win 4. The Win 5 has a significantly different design and size, so it probably won't fit the cradle properly. You might be better off with a universal USB-C dock instead.

Does this actually support 180w power pass through or is this a mistake? Because I will buy this if it does if not, this is very misleading.

Hi, The dock's specification tables and detailed reviews confirm that the maximum power delivered to the GPD Win 5 is 100W, which is set by the original charger and the device’s power requirements, not 180W. The 180W figure mentioned in marketing reference the potential input capability or a combined delivery scenario, rather than actual sustained power passed through the dock to the device itself.
