Top choice for Android gaming

As an avid gamer who’s always on the go, I recently upgraded to the Ayn Odin 2 Android handheld, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Here’s why this device has quickly become my go-to for gaming.

First off, the battery life on the Odin 2 is amazing. It has one of the largest batteries in the category, which means I can play for hours without worrying about finding a charger. Whether I’m playing graphic-intensive games or just some casual titles, the battery holds up impressively well.

The portability of the Odin 2 is another big win for me. Despite being a bit larger than some other handhelds, it’s still easy to carry around. I can toss it in my bag and take it with me wherever I go. The size is perfect for a more immersive gaming experience, which I prefer over smaller screens.

One of the biggest reasons I upgraded from the Odin 1 was to get more out of my Xreal Air 2 Pro glasses. These glasses are compatible with both the Odin 1 and Odin 2, but I felt that upgrading to the Odin 2 would enhance my overall experience. The enhanced visual experience with these glasses takes my gaming sessions to a whole new level, and the Odin 2 handles this compatibility seamlessly.

Performance-wise, the Odin 2 is a powerhouse. It’s got a robust processor and plenty of RAM, so everything runs smoothly. From classic emulators to the latest Android games, I haven’t encountered any lag or performance issues.

If there’s one minor downside, it’s that the Odin 2 might feel a bit bulky for some people. But for me, the slight increase in size is a fair trade-off for the larger screen and better gaming experience.

Overall, I highly recommend the Ayn Odin 2 for anyone looking for a reliable, portable, and powerful handheld gaming device. It’s been a fantastic upgrade from the Odin 1, especially with the added bonus of making the most out of my Xreal Air 2 Pro glasses.

Love it!!

I've been on the search for a retro game console for a while now. I loved the concept of being able to play old games that i had already played as a kid, but most of them were discontinued and/or i lost them. So, while i was looking i came across the Odin2 in a few videos and reviews.
I was impressed. It had the ability and capacity to play all those old games, and some more recent games, which i thought was amazing! After careful research and comparing it to other handheld devices, i choose the Odin2 for its continuous display for improvement as well as its high performance. I've had it for a vew weeks now and i'm very please! True the price was a bit of a push, and i wont bother with the postal issues from my country, but for me it was worth it.

Great handheld

After having a steamdeck and also the legion go, tho they are both great at emulation and able to play pc titles the issue I had was the size of them, not good when traveling taking alot of room in backpack, not something I was comfy using on transport with the huge size of them. What I wanted was something powerful enough for emulationstation capable of running all my backup games from spectrum right up to switch and boy this odin 2 Pro packs a punch for such a small handheld. This is so much more comfy in the hand, easier to take out and about, great battery life and gameplay.
Hands down the best handheld I've owned.
I also ordered it with case which is great and a must to protect this great device.

A beast of a handheld

Pretty looks, the fastest CPU, plenty of RAM and storage: this is what I get from my Odin 2 Max!

I followed the Retro Game Corps' brilliant video and blog tutorials for how to configure Odin 2, the emulators and how to convert the games to the best formats. I highly recommend checking his stuff: you'll get the best graphics and controller configurations this way.

All of the emulators are set to upscale to 1080p plus some postprocessing. I've never had to lower the settings: every game I tried and is supported by the emulator just works.

I even had to limit the fast forward feature in some emulators as it is so fast, it skips half of the game if left unlimited.

Lots of RAM also allows the Rewind feature to work even with the heavy emulators/games.

I also installed an Android FTP server app which allows me to transfer files to Odin 2 wirelessly: even while I am playing a game! The transfer with my WiFi5 router reaches 35 MB/s which was just enough even when transferring 100GB at once.

My main reason to get Odin 2 was to play mostly PS2 games but I was also pleasantly surprised how well the other games work(GC, Wii, 3DS, DS, etc.).

I never expected this device to replace my Switch but it might as the games that are supported work like the real thing! If Darksiders 3 works well with its highly dynamic boss battles, then anything would work!

Android together with an ARM CPU and a big battery makes this a powerful handheld that lasts for many hours.

If you don't want to make compromises and want only the best: get Odin 2 and get the Max model as the additional RAM and storage really help if you have hundreds of games and apps to try.
