GPD Stylus for GPD Pocket 3 og WIN MAX 2

Let me just say WOW what a beautiful machine. So small yet large at functionality, form and factor. A workhorse powerhouse of a laptop.
If your working on the go at home or i the office you will have all you need in this small yet big machine. I couldnt have aasked for a better laptop for all my needs. The max does it all.
The only thing that confused me a bit was the game control layout, being used to the win mini . The reversed right hand controls were odd at first and not as instinctive to the mini where the controls are layed out. I am getting used to it though. I do prefer to play AAA games on my win mini 2024 though as its now my gaming go to.
However , once im used to win max i will engoy that as well.
The 10.1 inch screen is great and i dont notice the change from 120hz to 60hz in the games i play. The OLED will be an impressive upgrad in 2026 if GPD goes into OLED on max.
I have the 2024 version and look forward to the OLED on these devices.
I will say this though you wont need OLED on these devices as they are beautifully crips screens.
I know the 2025 hasalot of upgrades from the previous year and would loved to have the 2025.
I look forward to the future of GPD and its future products lineup.

Fantastic machine if it's right for you. Very powerful (I have the HX370/64GB RAM/2TB SSD version) and lots of storage options -- primary 2280, secondary 2230, microSD and full-size SD slots. Thunderbolt and USB4 support mean a variety of display options; I use mine with a lapdock when I need a more traditional experience and that offers plenty of flexibility whether I'm just grabbing it for quick work or setting up a workstation while I travel. LTE modem is extremely convenient. For play, the built-in controller is convenient but certainly more awkward than a more dedicated handheld gaming device. This device is heavier and balanced differently so comfort is an issue. I placed some kickstands on the back which helps on a surface but in the lap, for me, playing time is limited and certain genres such as fighters or fast-paced FPS are still difficult.

The main reason I didn't give five stars is that there are plenty of peculiarities in getting things operating correctly and consistently. For instance, getting UCB-C video out on certain versions of BIOS is very finicky, requiring what is often an "incorrect" setting to function -- for instance, needing to set D2 to DP video without USB-C in order for DP to work WITH USB-C. The microSD slots are fiddly and that has been a known issue going back to the original -- in mine in particular if I eject the full-size SD card, the microSD slot drops, and nothing I do can get them to work again aside from restarting the entire machine. Little things like this do make it somewhat of a tinkerer's device rather than a set it and forget one.

All in all, this is a unique item which filled my particular use case and I'm quite satisfied with it. I don't mind the little idiosyncrasies and tweaks I have to do in exchange for something that fills all my needs and gives me an extreme amount of power in a compact form factor.

I got the Win Max 2 32GB edition that i have purchased this summer and in beginning this mini computer worked like a dream everything was great and i thought that finally i found my ultra portable gaming dream however this dream over last few months turned more in to a nightmare. Just half a year later Win Max 2 started developing all sorts of faults like the famous black screen issue that many others are reporting and no matter what you try such as updating bios, resetting the computer this only solves the issue for a a while and then it comes back. Now the new bigger more serious problem has surfaced where the machine freezes and graphics card crashes when you plug or unplug the charger, when this happens the gpu driver disappears and i have to reinstall it after each crash. This basically means that this computer has to be plugged in all the time or switched off prior to connecting or disconnecting the charger. Now before anyone says anything i am a technically minded person and have tried more then just general reset and update, the issue is in the design itself as per further investigation Win Max 2 has absolutely zero tolerance to voltage fluctuations so any changes to power will either freeze or crash this computer. Even when you plug anything else to the second usb c charger port that will also freeze Win Max 2 computer. As there are so many posts all over the internet on almost every forum its just obvious GPD doesnt build with quality its all about the idea and just make it look good. Now ironically i had the option to buy a laptop this summer which i was saving for but i thought having a tiny gaming computer would be more better, to this day i now regret i didnt just go on and get a regular gaming laptop which would also cost less but most importantly work without all these problems which now i fear that i dont know what else to expect from this computer. It would be even difficult to sell it on ebay because so many people know what quality of GPD is like. Honestly Droiux how could you retail this without extensive research is beyond anyones guess. Final word be careful when buying any of these GPD computers!

I love this machine! It's small and portable and very powerful. Even more powerful when docked with an oculink eGPU etc. I highly recommend it!
