    GPD WIN MAX 2 spojuje práci a hraní ve výkonném přenosném herním počítači.

    GPD WIN MAX 2 má ve složeném stavu rozměry 8,9 × 6,2 × 0,9 palce (22,7 × 16,0 × 2,3cm) a váží 1005 gramů, což z něj činí mimořádně přenosný kapesní herní počítač, který se snadno vejde do brašny nebo pouzdra ve stylu notebooku.

    GPD WIN MAX 2 je vybaven vysoce výkonným procesorem AMD Ryzen 7 6800U, který má osm jader a šestnáct vláken pracujících na frekvenci až 4,7 GHz mezi konfigurovatelnými 15W-28W TDP. Úžasně vypadající plynulý obraz na tomto kapesním počítači zajišťuje procesor AMD Radeon 680M s výkonem až 2,2 GHz.

    GPD WIN MAX 2 podporuje až 32 GB operační paměti LPDDR5-6400 MT/s a až 2 TB SSD s podporou až 3 GB paměti. m.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2280 SSD. Na zadní straně kapesního počítače se systémem Windows je další slot pro až 2 TB m.2 PCIe 3.0 SSD.

    Po otevření stránky GPD WIN MAX 2 se zobrazí 10,1″ dotykový displej IPS s výchozím rozlišením 1920 × 1200, který podporuje rozlišení až 2560 × 1600. Jedná se o vysoce kvalitní displej a hry pro AAA operační systém Windows na něm vypadají úžasně. Pod ním se nachází 2MP superširokoúhlý fotoaparát s rozlišením 1612×1212 a vestavěným mikrofonem. K dispozici je podsvícená klávesnice QWERTY a přesný touchpad Microsoft pro zadávání.

    Žádný kapesní herní počítač by nebyl úplný bez herních ovládacích prvků. Pod dvěma diskrétními odnímatelnými panely se nachází kompletní herní ovládací prvky. Jsou zde dvě analogové páčky se senzorem Hallova efektu, herní D-Pad a ovládací prvky včetně spouštěčů s Hallovým efektem. Na zadní straně GPD WIN MAX 2 jsou další dvě tlačítka, která lze nakonfigurovat.

    K dispozici je rychlá WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax 6 a Bluetooth 5.2 a prostřednictvím samostatně zakoupeného modulu je k dispozici podpora mobilních dat 4G LTE. Kapesní herní počítač GPD WIN MAX 2 je vybaven portem USB Thunderbolt 4 pro vysokorychlostní přenos dat včetně použití s externí grafickou kartou (eGPU) pro ještě vyšší výkon. K dispozici je vestavěné rozhraní HDMI 2.1 pro zobrazení na dvou monitorech.

    Napájení GPD WIN MAX 2 zajišťuje 67Wh li-polymerová baterie, která vydrží až 14 hodin lehkého provozu, 6-8 hodin středně náročného provozu a 3 hodiny náročného provozu. V našich vlastních testech jsme na kapesním počítači spustili program Cinebench při plném zatížení a maximálním jasu a získali jsme 2 hodiny a 5 minut.

    GPD WIN MAX 2 je úžasná kombinace pro práci i zábavu s velkou výdrží baterie. Přes den můžete pracovat s velmi náročnými kancelářskými dokumenty a pak stačí sejmout dva panely a odhalit herní výkon!

    Fantastic mobile gaming device

    I upgraded from the OneXPlayer 2 to the Win Max 2 (2023). This loads games like Starfield much faster. Having the keyboard built in means I don't have to carry one with me. Battery life is good and already added a 2TB 2230 drive. Great all around device.

    Simply best gaming gizmo ever

    I still have the 2022 model. It serves me perfectly. Of course, some of the latest games are difficult to play without an additional external GPU, but games up to 20-21 can be played quite solidly, if not perfectly. The controller is fantastic, a much better experience than the Xbox controller, or any other.
    I notice in the comments that people are complaining about the bad battery. I don't know where this experience comes from, but my battery lasts two, up to two and a half hours and that's still the case after three years! And that's quite enough for me, because I don't play all day, but an hour and a half is quite enough for me. After all, this is just a casual gaming device and not some hardcore gaming machine. And while I'm at it, I also own a RAzerBlade laptop, year 2020, with geforce 2070 graphics... Wow, this otherwise beautiful machine, even if I just leave it on and just look at it, dies in half an hour! And that's from the moment I bought it. No settings help. That's why I find the WIN Max 2 incomparably more useful, and the controllers are built in. Priceless! On top of that, I have all the possible inputs for disks and cards filled! I currently have 5TB disks in this device. I can run games, and newer ones, without any problems both from SD and from microSD cards! Crazy... The fan volume has been the biggest problem I've had so far, but I discovered quite by accident that I can "mute" it even for the most demanding gaming or work by pressing alt-shift (I think, no) and for this purpose the light on the left shift button, where there is also a small fan symbol, lights up. Great feature! The Razer doesn't have this, but it's even louder and hotter than this little thing from GPD. As for the battery, I should tell all the naysayers to just plug in a 100w powerbank and they'll be able to burn their brains long into the night ;)

    Great for music production

    I was searching for a portable solution for music production at home and live on stage as my intel I5 8gb was not powerfull enough to handle large libraries and many tracks. Also gaming was not really possible.

    But now (as expected) with this machine everything is blazing fast!! I installed WIN 11 Pro and added a 1TB of extra storage (2230 M.2 NVMe Gen 4 1 TB, 4750 MB/s) for prodution files and backup and now have 3TB of storage. You need a really small screw driver for that by the way. The included 2TB is not really fast. Only 3500 during a read speed test. This was already confirmed in several articles online. but a copy of a 6GB file took only a few seconds.

    Today I used the 'laptop' the whole day and its a real eye opener between all those MAC and boring Dell and HP laptops :) I used it on public transport too and its so small you have enough room for typing and handling.

    Cons: the trackpad is far away and its great it has a touch screen as an extra option not navigate. Pro: a great machine, I hope for a long time as I do not need the latest AAA games. Delivery was really fast and instructions for installation and downloads were clear.

    Again, my advise. Do a clean install and check for latest BIOS and drivers.

    Excellent piece of kit.

    Had a faulty track pad on my first purchase but droix handled the exchange fast. Yes I was sad it had to go back but was confident I would get a perfect one as an exchange. It did come fairly fast after they had checked it over and confirmed the fault. Replacement had a keyboard issue where it will stop after it comes out of hibernation or when it's shut down and started up again. Same as another reviewer explained. Few back and forth and diagnosing, reinstalling windows twice etc droix customer service told me to downgrade the bios which I did and it fixed the issue..so thought I would install the latest bios update v0.38 from droix and glad to say it is running fine like it should and realised it runs waaay better and smoother than the v0. 36 which is buggy and laggy. Even on stuff like installing games etc. Droix customer service is excellent, respond fast and do all they can to help. Even reassure you a replacement is ready to be sent out if it can't be fixed(hardware issue). Win max 2 is built like the big boys... solid and premium!

    GPD win max 2 2023 review

    First impression of the GPD win max 2 is great, it’s feels well built and premium with the aluminium shell. I purchased the 7840u variant, running windows 11 and for general use it feels smooth and responsive. It has a fantastic screen, the resolution can be changed to your liking, by default it’s at 2.5k res and it’s really crisp. Sound is surprisingly loud for a small device. I tried connecting to 4K tv at 60hz, it runs okay. Depending on what you’re running the 7840u can handle a lot, but at 4K 60hz obviously there are limits and performance dips the harder you push it, also fan will kick in. With the 780m integrated graphics it is surprisingly good, and testing with several games I am utterly surprised the performance it gives. Overwatch 2 runs no problems, sorry not much of a gamer but have tried some others like it takes 2, these run smooth. The battery does take a hit with the games, averaging about 2 hours game play, however if not gaming can last 6 hours or more with light tasks. It is convenient and I carry it everywhere I go, great item and worth the price. DROIX.co.uk is fantastic also, I put them amongst the best company to buy from.

    Will you be getting any 64GB versions of the 2024 GPD Win Max 2 back in stock? I noticed it wasn’t even listed as a “sold out” option in the configuration selector so I wondered if that variation is no longer even an option going forward.
